2-25-07: Opened a new site for my music, www.HJPmusic.com. Plenty of new and previously unreleased music there, so have a look.

11-08-06: Set up a quick Google Groups email list. I may switch to another list in the future, but we'll see how it goes. If so, it'd be about the same time I switch to a faster, more reliable host than my basement. Hang in there, grand ol' updates are coming!

10-29-06: Trimmed down the music page to include just new songs. I've a damned massive archive of tracks from over the years, so if you're ever curious drop me a line.

12-30-05: New song "Ice Box" added. First in a long while, finally got the parts to fix the music-makin' machine. About time, too.

12-23-05: Still alive, and finally have some time. The server has been switched over, so a few features have been temporarily disabled until everything is finished.

6-28-05: Access might be up and down while I fix some quirks with the server. Also, the site will finally be updated over the next couple [edit: several] weeks with some new content, keep an eye out!

3-4-05: Zdzislaw Beksinski has been murdered. There really isn't much else I can say, the world has lost an artistic genius.

1-4-05: Happy Belated New Year. No news, been busy with a new job (there right now, actually) and could sure go for a few weeks in the sticks right now. Already missed my Biohavoc deadline by a mile; depressing.

11-09-04: Update: Gah! The Vag BBs 1.12 distribution was missing the two jpeg files- and has been since March! Bloody hell. Fixed, and I'm calling it 1.13, but the only real difference is the inclusion of the two jpegs. Sorry folks. Also, coming soon, a mailing list for updates like these.

7-04-04: Happy Independence Day! Update on outages: Root of the problem appears to be signal loss. This might now be resolved, but I'd thought the same three previous times. We'll see.

6-28-04: Just got back from three days of backpacking in the white mountains, rock on. Expect some new nature shots posted soon.

06-19-04: My connection has been cutting out at random, and with it the site. Thank your local friendly ISP.

06-03-04: Call to arms. Due to the last couple months I fell in the habit of putting off P2/Biohavoc. Vote! Vote! Vote! Or, even more effective, personally demand progress! Procrastination is a deadly foe.

05-30-04: Mind the occasional outages while some things are sussed. Thursday I'll have more time, but until then things may be a catch erratic.

05-28-04, 2:00am: That's gotta be a speed record for me getting this bugger back up after a suicide. Everyone dance your favorite irish jig, things look stable!

05-27-04, 11:30pm: Remember that fresh cpu I was swapping the server to? Discovered it was in fact one that went south last year. After it hosed the box. All data safe and sound, I'd prepared for an unexpected reinstall back the last time it was being disagreeable. Site will be down for a few hours though.

05-27-04: Server hosed overnight, looks to have been a runaway process. Back up as of 7:30am, everything happy. On that topic, akgames.com will be going down very briefly sometime today for a cpu and ram upgrade.

05-09-04: "As Seen From Afar" added to Music.

05-06-04: AkArchive, a collection of scripts to manage an online-accessible database for archives, has finally been worked on more and will hopefully be out in the fray soon.

04-05-04: Biohavoc update: Forest Act 2 complete, marking the game a bit over 1/3rd complete. Stay tuned.

03-12-04 (later): Vag 1.12 released. If you're using 1.11 you can also just follow the below instructions.

03-12-04: BUG FOUND: In Vag 1.11 the new IP banning broke the icon upload code- putting together a 1.12 release now, but meanwhile you can safely open vagiup.cgi and on line 18 remove '&checkblocked;' - Don't worry, this is purely redundant and will not make Vag any more lenient against banned IPs. Thanks Steve!

02-08-04: Music section has returned! No thanks to mp3.com, eh? Be sure to have a look, previously unreleased material is now out.

02-02-04: Happy Groundhog Day and all that. May we yet get more snow!

12-24-03, 2:20pm: Vag v1.11 released, minor bugfix. Administrator could see all privates messages, but not open them. Also, a potential leak has been fixed in the new user form. Just in time for X-Mas!

12-21-03: Vag BBs v1.1 released, now with better logging and IP banning.

12-20-03: Adding in a few new features to Vag, like IP logging and banning. The new package should be ready tomorrow, stay tuned.

12-18-03(later): Fixed a minor bug in Vag BBs (false no-cookies report) 12-18-03: Updated the site with a test setup of Vag BBs, link located above the download link below. Also removed the mp3.com link to my music since they sold out to CNET and deleted all of their users earlier this year. I'll set up something here for a few songs this weekend while updating the webshots site.

12-03-03: Working on graphics for Act 2 of Biohavoc today and updating random bits here at akgames. Server's been stable this past month, so it should be safe to start working on the projects again :)

11-13-03: Local server is back up! Note the snazzy new winter theme and release of P2/Biohavoc demo and Vag bbs. Also a forum, using said Vag script. Enjoy, though things may be spotty today as I restore things.

09-19-03: That P2 demo was finished on 8/6/03, but I've been in Oregon/Washington climbing mountains and raising hell. After a month of painful attempts, the windows port is a failure and directx is the bane of my existance. No real loss, the dos and linux versions work perfect. I might release the demo since it could be a while before the full game is done.

07-04-03: Happy Independence Day!

06-21-03: First part of P2 to be released to some friends for testing in a week or two. Sign the petition to encourage me to finish it at do-box. Ta :)
